The Editorial Freelancers Association will host Karen Yin, author of The Conscious Style Guide, on Wednesday, March 18, 2026. She will give a short, informal presentation about her book and her website, and will hold a Q&A session. The event is open to EFA nonmembers! Register for free here. Conscious Language Reads entail me reading your manuscript and flagging unintentionally harmful, insensitive, or exclusionary language, and offering resources on why that language is considered problematic and providing alternative wording you can use instead.
