Price Increase Starting on January 2021

I wanted to post to update you on what's going on in my life.

I've been crazy busy with work and university. I've been taking courses from the University of Chicago to complete an editing certificate. I'll take the last course during autumn this year and complete my certificate before the end of the year. As a result, I'm announcing there will be a slight price increase to reflect my education and eight years of experience working as an editor.

Beginning on January 2021, prices for proofreading will start at $350 for up to 60K words, while prices for copyediting will start at $500 for up to 60K words. I will, as usual, do a sample edit before taking on a project to determine the level of work it will need, which will determine the final price. I will continue to offer rush editing on a case-by-case basis for $200 extra.

Despite my vast experience, I will continue to strive to provide affordable proofreading and copyediting for authors of all levels, be it seasoned authors or first-time authors.
